I have not received
insomuch as a candy heart.
But I still toss these 
shattered fragments
to the wind
in desperate hopes
that one will touch
and he will search
for all these broken pieces.
And someday, someone
will present to me
the completed puzzle
of fragments I’d discarded

But for now,
I’m content
with these pixel hearts
that fill my dashboard
with hope.
that if I can touch your heart
for even just a fleeting moment
that one, out of 7 billion
might find it worth the time
to search for the scattered
Heart of mine.
